the everyday adventures of sabrina

while getting ready for work today, i was bored of jeans and felt like wearing a skirt, so i ended up wearing my happy black full skirt (the kind that twirls and is lots of fun to wear, but which is sensibly lined with a pencil skirt so i don’t need to run around being scared of subway vents), a brown t-shirt, and my favorite brown platform pumps with the ankle strap to work. i knew i had to work in the machine room today (as i was doing yesterday) but hey, being in a skirt and fabulous pumps and racking computers just makes me badass.

until i went in there to do something and realized that there’s just one problem with this plan: our machine room has cold air ducts under the floor, vented up.
