so the other day i got my copy of the lopsa September Memo to Members, which mentioned the Ohio LinuxFest, which is a one-day conference in columbus on 30 september. naturally, i thought, hey! i know people there! i should go to ohio.
whether or not it will turn out to be terribly useful is unknown, but i am interested in several of the sessions (integration, mysql tuning, ruby on rails, …), and hey, it’s free. and i dunno if i’ll stick around late enough to see it, but maddog is doing the evening keynote, and he’s a fine person to listen to. work’s pitching in so i don’t have to foot the bill myself. so, that’s cool. now if only i could knit while i drive…
