OK...I got experimental tonight. Made Lavender soap. It looks sooo yummmmy!!

28 ounces Olive oil
2 ounces Coconut oil
2 ounces Beeswax
4 ounces Lye
12 ounces Water

At trace:
2 ounces Avocado oil
2 ounces Lavender EO
2 Tablespoons crushed Lavender blossoms

Used my mortar and pestle to crush the Lavender blossoms, so I didn't get Lavender dust. :) Also it's just so much easier to use that than dig out the food processor and hook up the blade and plug it in and whir the blossoms and.........:)

I used a 9x14 glass Pyrex dish as a mold, lined with Saran Wrap so that I could easily get it out to unmold. It traced in less than half an hour, using hand beaters (my $9.99 Jewel Special :), but I have to admit I'm a little scared that it was just the beeswax setting up and it didn't really trace yet. I guess we'll see!
