this kills me. i mean, it absolutely slays me. it’s hysterical in its awfulness: The Kidz Bop Kids cover “Hey Ya.”

the best part? they tweaked the lyrics ever so slightly:

very cleverly becomes

i also find it stunningly funny when the adult lead singer pleads with the wee little innocent children to “lend me some sugar; i am your neighbor!”

… i found that after reading about their pretty-freaking-awful cover of “Float On,” and when one of the comments referenced “Hey Ya,” i just had to find it. oh man. it’s just so bad. i can’t stop laughing.
